Patricia “PittyPat” Ramage Bryan Robertson Johnston, born March 29, 1933, died Monday, March 7, 2011.
She was born and raised in Brundidge and was a resident of the Eastern Shore since 1962, living in Fairhope, Montrose, Point Clear or Daphne.
As a graduate of Auburn University she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She was a teacher at Silverhill Elementary School and a founding faculty member of Bayside Academy. She was a long time member of the Daphne Study Club, and a Pink Lady at Thomas Hospital for 20-plus years.
She was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and prior to that she was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and Fairhope United Methodist Church for over 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Johnston; two children, Patti Bryan Sirmon and Lee Bryan; two step-children, Robbie Robertson and Polly Robertson Parrish; six grandchildren; her first great-grandchild is expected in July; and devoted friends, Ann Wright, Eula Lett and Rosemary Cloete-Anderson of South Africa.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with a memorial service at 3 p.m. Friday, March 11 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Daphne. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at First United Methodist Church, Brundidge.
