Patsy Lou Robertson “Pat” Brantley, 76, of Lillian, Alabama, became an angel in Heaven on Monday, July 4, 2016.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1939 In Hobart, Oklahoma and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Pat moved to Lillian, Alabama with her husband in 1997 from Fort Worth, Texas. They made their home on Perdido Bay until the time of her death.

She was a member of Lillian United Methodist Church, The Lillian Community Club, and The Lillian Women’s Club. She volunteered for the Clothes Closet and The Golden Living Nursing Home in Foley, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Bessie Robertson; her son, Billy J. Harned; and 11 brothers and sisters. Pat was the baby of 14 siblings.

Pat is survived by her husband of 33 years, Danon Brantley; her daughter, Karen H. Peysen; her sons, Chase and Cole Peysen, all of Fort Worth, Texas; her brother, Clifford Robertson of Elgin, Oklahoma; her sister, Sybil Smith of Lawton, Oklahoma; stepchildren, Darrell (Chloe) Brantley of Newport News, Virginia, Denise Foote of Brooksville, Florida, Scott (Selena) Brantley of Port Richey, Florida and their children and grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Finally, but certainly not least, she had many friends that cherished her, but none more than her best friend Joyce Sheldon, who was with her until the end.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Lillian United Methodist Church, 12770 S. Perdido St., Lillian, AL 36549, with Rev. Daniel W. Randall officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lillian United Methodist Church.
