Paul L. Diamond, 70, passed away Aug. 21, 2014 after a lengthy battle with heart disease.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Diamond of Foley; his stepchildren, James (Christi) Schrauger of Arkansas and Heather Schrauger of Tennessee; a brother, Scott (Linda) Diamond; a niece, Jamie Diamond of New York City; as well as many other family members in the immediate area.
Paul had volunteered with the Foley Public Library since 2002.
He had always wanted to give back to this world, so after being under hospice care Paul was sent immediately to University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile to be used to further the education of our future doctors and nurses.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
