Martha Hurst Payne, 100, a native of Florence and longtime resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at her home.
She was a member of the Fairhope United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Robert Jerry Payne Sr. of Fairhope; two daughters, Carolyn Tunstall and Jane Burch, both of Fairhope; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Private graveside services and interment will be held at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
