Frances Pauline Robinson Hall Peaden, 78, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 in Tallahassee, Fla.

Pauline, as she was known, was born in Repton, and moved to Bay Minette as a teenager. She lived most of her life in Bay Minette, and spent the last several years in Dothan and Headland, and Tallahassee, Fla. She was a long-term member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette.

She dedicated her life to nursing and was always concerned with helping and comforting others. She also volunteered with agencies such as the American Red Cross. In her final act of helping others, She donated her body for medical research to the University of Florida Medical School in Gainesville, Fla.

Survivors include three children, Karen (Bill) Purvis of Headland, Kristie (Merle) Manzi of Tallahassee, Fla., and Thomas Byrne (Monica) Hall Jr. of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilodene (Jim) Neal of Bay Minette and Luverne Armstrong of Prattville.

A memorial service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
