March Roland Peavy, a native of Monroe County and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at his residence.
He was a master carpenter in the construction business.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Eleanor Judy Peacock.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Felma McDonald Peavy of Bay Minette; son, Roland E. (Janette) Peavy of Jackson, Tenn.; three daughters, Ernestine (James) White, Shirley (Ralph) Hall, both of Bay Minette and Diane P. (Patrick) Robinson of Stockton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 10 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Jon Anderson and the Rev. Carl Smith officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
