Perdido Elementary/Middle School Wins at Southwest Regional Technology Fair

Perdido Elementary/Middle School students competed at the Southwest Regional Technology Fair at Faulkner State on Thursday, March 15, and came away as winners in multiple categories. The students have been; researching, designing and building robots, creating written scripts for videoing, editing and producing, collecting data on stocks, experimenting with bubble gum to find the percentage of sugar in various brands and flavors and many additional areas of interest to create their computer projects. They begin their process early in the fall so that they will have ample time to test, adjust and retest their projects in order to obtain the best possible results.

Those students who placed first and second at the regional competition are qualified to compete on the state level which will be held at Auburn University Montgomery later in the spring.
