Perdido Cookies

Just in time for Thanksgiving, first grade students in Mrs. Laurie Myer’s classroom, visited Mrs. Kay Cain’s room for a lesson in how to make Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies. Students know that the best lessons are those which are “hands on.” After students listened to the steps, and watched Mrs. Cain model the correct way to make a turkey cookie, they began the process of creating their own edible treat.
