Perdido Middle School was well represented at the Alabama State Technology Fair on Saturday, May 5. The students were eligible to compete on the state level after placing either first or second in the Regional Technology Fair. Those students that competed were: Evan Williams, Ashley Presley, Tori Clark, Corbin Hill and Courtney Tyree.
Evan competed in Video Production with his project based on interviews of family members who grew up during the Great Depression. Ashley’s General Applications project, based on her research of The Manhattan Project, was presented using Power Point and Excell. Courtney’s Video Production project consisted of writing a series of scripts concerning various types of bullying, which she and her group acted, videoed and edited for their presentation. The group of Ashley, Corbin and Tori competed in Web Page Design, which highlighted points of interest throughout the state of Alabama.
Placing first in the state was the team of: Corbin Hill, Ashley Presley and Tori Clark. Ashley also placed second in the state for her individual project.
