Mr. and Mrs. William Peters announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Marie Peters, to Christopher Thomas Edmunds, the son of Mrs. Terry Alan Austin and Mr. Thomas Ewers Edmunds of Atlanta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Truman Bowles and the late Mr. and Mrs. John D. Peters.
She is a graduate of Bayside Academy and Troy University; she is an undergraduate at Samford University. She is a senior accountant with Carr, Riggs and Ingram LLC in Atlanta.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Alvin Conner and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Edmunds.
He is a graduate of Roswell High School in Roswell, Ga., and the University of Notre Dame; he is an undergraduate at Samford University. He is a senior accountant with Ernst and Young in Atlanta.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 6 p.m. July 24, 2010 at Peachtree United Methodist Church in Atlanta.
