Phyllis Ruth Fleming Folmar, 81, a native of Frisco City and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her residence.
She was personnel manager (retired) with Reichhold Chemicals during her career span of 31 years.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Alexander Folmar of Bay Minette; two sons, Larry Wayne (Mollie) Folmar of Montgomery and Kenneth Warren (Sharon) Folmar Sr., of Macon, Ga.; four grandchildren, Jacob Wayne Folmar, of Austin, Texas, Kenneth Warren (Briana) Folmar of Macon, Ga., Jonathan Russel (Maggie) Folmar of Covington, Ga., and Elizabeth Ann (William) Morgan, of Braintree, Mass.; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Folmar and Sean Folmar.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Ken Folmar, Russel Folmar, Jacob Folmar, Pat Ryan, Joe Ryan and Donald Horton. Honorary pallbearers were Carlton Boutwell, Lual Barr and Jerry Wilson.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 311 D’Olive St., Bay Minette, AL 36507.
