Charles R. “Ricky” Pickle, 57, a native of Mobile and a resident of Spanish Fort for over 20 years, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009.
He grew up in the Chickasaw area and was a retired shrimper. He lived life his way and was a friend to many people.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Blackford Chiocco of Fairhope; son, Daniel (Nicole) Pickle of Robertsdale; sister, Barbara Blackford of Atlanta; brother, James (Paula) Russell of Montevallo; and two grandsons, Jacob and Andrew Pickle of Robertsdale.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at his residence in Spanish Fort.
Cremation arrangements are by Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service, Daphne.
