Joseph A. Pilgrim Jr., 82 resident of Elberta, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and a member of the VFW Post of Elberta.
He was the ninth of 10 children, five sisters and four brothers, all have preceeded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife Esther Zantop Pilgrim.
Survivors include two sons Allen Howard Pilgrim of Elberta, AL and Robby A. Pilgrim of Elberta; two daughters, Cheryl Ann Jantz of Elberta and Jocelyn Marie Riebie of Elberta; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 9 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Elberta, with the Rev. Keith Ringers officating. Interment will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Elberta.
