Foley Intermediate School is having an annual Christmas Program. The Christmas Program will be Dec. 16 in the gym. Each class will perform an act.

Mrs. Frederick’s class is doing “All We Want for Christmas Is You,” and Mr. Avera’s class is doing a Christmas Puppy Poem. Parents may come and watch their child. Teachers will participate in the Christmas program.

After the program, the kids will go back to class and have a Christmas party. Some classes have already started practicing. There will be no fee to come and watch the program. We will have thirteen classes performing. So, get ready for the Christmas Program. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We have a new office worker at Foley Intermediate School. Her name is Jane Soesbe. She has been living in Foley most of her life. She went to Foley High School and loves her new job.

She transferred from Bay Minette Middle School, and worked in the library. She has three lovely grandchildren. She also has two children named Wendy Jollenbeck and Michael Soesbe. She has a pet bird! Her birthday is Dec. 1, which was the day she started her new job here. We are so happy to welcome Mrs. Soesbe to our school.

Foley Intermediate School will be having a Christmas dance for the sixth grade on Dec. 15. If you are in the sixth grade, you can come if you have no office or bus referrals. It starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. It costs $5 to enter.

This includes pizza, drink, music and games. Mrs. Lester will be the DJ! We will wear our jeans and Christmas shirts. We will stay at school until the dance begins, and our parents need to be here to pick us up at 5:30! So, get $5 and get ready for the Foley Intermediate School sixth grade Christmas Dance.
