While Christmas is the most recognized holiday during the year, and the majority of restaurants and businesses will celebrate the day by being closed, a number of local establishments will open to accommodate family parties and groups the choose not to stay home and cook.
A recent National Purchase Diary poll showed that only 2 percent of those surveyed planned to go out for dinner on Christmas. The NPD Group provides consumer and retail information to manufacturers and retailers.
Along the Gulf Coast, a number of popular eateries will open their doors for Christmas customers.
In addition to their regular menu, Matt Young, a manager at Bubba’s Seafood House said they will be offering something a little special.
“We will have our regular menu but we will also be doing prime rib,” Young said. “Customers can enjoy a delicious prime rib dinner plus two side items of their choice for just $12.95.”
Young said the restaurant will be opening at 10:30 and will stay open until 9 p.m.

While all of these restaurants will be open on Christmas Day, customers should call regarding possible changes in Christmas Eve hours.
