Every morning at Good Shepherd Lutheran School, students and teachers start the day by picking out a child to hold the flag, then the other students form a circle around the flag holder and recite from memory the Pledge of Allegiance. Following the pledge, they say a morning prayer and learn about God, and his only son, Jesus Christ.
