PENSACOLA, Fla. — This Father’s Day, Pensacola Little Theatre is offering two musical shows to entertain Dad and the whole family.
On June 20 at 2:30 p.m., “Little Shop of Horrors,” a darkly comic musical about a mutant plant that grows to gigantic proportions by eating people, will be staged.
Based on a 1960 horror film by B-movie meister Roger Corman, the stage show features memorable music by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, the same team behind the Disney musicals “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin.”
Additional performances are scheduled for June 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m., and June 27 at 2:30 p.m.
Then at 7:30 p.m. June 20, “A Tribute to Patsy Cline” moves into the theater for two performances.
Margo Anderson performs Cline’s most popular songs with a strong, clear voice that has enthralled audiences throughout the United States.
One additional performance will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for both performances are on sale through the Pensacola Cultural Center Box Office, (850) 432-2042.
