PENSACOLA, Fla. — Pensacola Little Theatre and director Stan Dean are holding auditions in January for Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.”
The story centers on aging salesman Willy Loman and his family. At a time when Willy ought to be retiring, he is fired from his low-paying job.
As he reflects on his past choices and his future, he begins to lose his grip on reality. After arguing with his son, he chooses a path that will leave his family in dire straits and make a final statement about his belief that he was always “well-liked” by others.

People trying out will be asked to cold read scenes from the script.
Auditions will be held at Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. on Jan. 12 and 13, beginning at 7 p.m. You are not required to attend both days.
Performances of “Death of a Salesman” are scheduled for Feb. 27 through March 8.
