Linnie Polk, 86, a native of Mississippi and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She worked in a Garment Factory and was a retired seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vernon Jones and Cecil Polk; one son, Larry Jones; and five brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Womack of New Hebron, Miss., and Carolyn Duck of Bay Minette; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Buford Griffith of Magee, Miss.; and two sisters, Olla Stanford of Boyle, Miss., and Ann Frazier of Cleveland, Miss.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 30 from the chapel of Saulters-Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Evanson and the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial followed at Zion Cemetery in Simpson County, Miss.
