"font-family:">She was born on July 3, 1922 in Tensaw to Pierce English and Virginia Boyles Holmes.
"font-family:">She is survived by her two daughters and their families, Virginia and Don Bergis, Kelly and James; and Patricia and Greg Dykema, and Lauren and Megan. Her grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Kelly and James were her pride and joy.
"font-family:">Polly and her late husband, Claude, had resided in Los Altos, Calif. for 32 years before she moved to Santa Clara. She enjoyed entertaining and baking, delivering many sweet treats to family, neighbors and friends.
"font-family:">A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Montgomery Hill Baptist Church, Tensaw.
