POINT CLEAR, Ala. — It’s time to kickoff the summer polo season at the Point Clear Chukkars for Charity, events Friday and Saturday.
Bring the whole family for a full day of fun and entertainment. Along with the fast-paced polo match the day will include:
•Kids Tent with games and activities.
•Award for the Best Decorated Table (white tablecloths are provided).
•Student Dressage Show at halftime.
•Works of local artists Ron Thompson, Jake Ollinger and Caroline Reehl on display and available for purchase.
•Enjoy food and beverages from vendors there, or bring a picnic.
•Musical entertainment of Complete Desire, and more.
Sparkle at Sundown will be held Friday, from 7-10 p.m., at Sonny Hill-Clearwater Farms Polo Pavilion, corner of Greeno Road and County Road 32, south of Fairhope.
Join the fun on the eve of the match for an exclusive one-night-only show of jewelry hand-selected by Clarkes Jewelers of Shreveport, La.
Guests will enjoy a fine wine tasting and dinner specially prepared onsite.
Then on Saturday,the gates there will open at noon, with the polo match beginning at 3 p.m.
Complete Desire will perform from 6 until 10 p.m.

Supervised children age 15 and under attending with families will be admitted free.
Admission for Sparkle at Sundown is $50 per person. A limited number of tickets are available.
Premiere Seating (front row) for Chukkars for Charity on Saturday is $1,000 for a table of 10, or $100 for each individual.
Preferred Seating (second row) is $750 for a table of ten, or $75 for individual admission.
Individual and junior admission (ages 16-20) is $50/$25.
Proceeds from Chukkars for Charity will benefit local youth based organizations, including Drug Education Council Inc., Younglife and Bayside Academy Financial Aid.
