Jack E. Pope, 74, a native of Belleville, Ill., and a resident of Mobile, died Sunday, May 25, 2008.
He was a retired home builder with Jack Pope Building & Realty, also known as Major Homes. He is a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He loved boating and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Kearns of Loxley and Jackie Williams of Mooreland, Ga.; son, Kevin Pope of Rosinton; sister, Virgie Evanoff of Tucson, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 30 at Mack Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Catholic Social Services.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
