Brenda Lea Weeks Porter, 38, a native and resident of Foley, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009.
She worked as a cook at Sea and Suds in Gulf Shores.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas N. Weeks and Robert Weeks.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Ann Kaiser of Elberta; her father, Thomas L. Weeks of Foley; three sons, Randal and James Weeks, both of Foley, and Rodney Porter of Foley; sister, Jamie Weeks of Foley; brother, Charles Weeks of Foley; grandmother, Hollis Dees of Foley; three nieces, eight nephews and a close friend, Blanche Dennis.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30 at St. John's Catholic Church, Magnolia Springs. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
