Mr. Porter King Wallace, Jr., 85, a native and resident of Stockton, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at his residence. He was a retired Baptist minister. He was a World War II veteran having served with the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Richerson Wallace, Stockton; his children, Diane King Wallace Cooper, Stockton, Mark Sterling (Melinda) Wallace, Pine Grove; two grandchildren, Bradley Richerson Cooper and Adrienne Cooper (Jon) Wells; brother, Thomas Madison Wallace, Virginia; sister, Eleanor Wallace, Centre.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Caroline Wallace.
Funeral service were Monday, Feb. 13, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes, Dr. Henry Cox and the Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Interment was at Richerson Cemetery in Stockton.
