Have you ever been in a situation where you knew your character was on the line and it was important for you to think before you spoke?
Did you focus on your body language and your attitude before speaking?
Albert Einstein once stated, “Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.” It isn’t always easy to have a good attitude, but it is always best to try.
You don’t have to be a genius or an Einstein to realize the way you think directly affects the way you act.
Consequently, the way you act is perceived by others as either good or bad. In addition, learning and applying principles to what you do is vital to displaying the image you wish to present. Sometimes it is wise to set aside time to ‘think’ about what your goals in life are and if they are realistic or not. Then, you can decide whether or not they are worth the investment. For this reason, it is crucial that you write action plans on paper to remind you of your goals and what steps must be taken to accomplish them.
If every day feels like a mundane Monday, find new ways to energize yourself and speed up your motivation to move forward in life.
However, if something or someone makes you happy, hold on as tight as you can. Good jobs, good friends, and good relationships are not easy to find.
Stay close to people you admire, respect, and care about deeply. Discover the things you are passionate about and seek ways to enjoy those sports, hobbies and people.
According to the 2002 novel, “Who Stole My Cheese” by Spencer Johnson, you should never allow others to steal your “cheese” or valuables. Most important, you shouldn’t let fear keep you from reaching your goals and achieving happiness. Start your journey in life by looking forward with excitement. The author of this novel also implies that it is important to make certain that your vision is not clouded by an ‘old’ way of thinking that includes worry and fear.
When forming relationships or working with others, seek ways to generate positive energy.
Find ways to promote passion, satisfaction and affirmative emotions. You might be surprised as to how this behavior can prove contagious!
Identify with ways you can promote synchronization in working toward a common goal with others. Resolve all conflicts quickly and communicate with clarity. Then, make sure you are connecting with others in a genuine way that demonstrates honesty and truth in all you do.
