ORANGE BEACH , Ala. - The 2013 Orange Beach Festival of Art is proud to announce Megan Gulland, new this year as the event's visiting and demonstrating potter. Gulland's talent and experience are extraordinary for such a young artist.

She holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Montevallo and a Master of Fine Arts, Ceramics from Rochester Institute of Technology where she was a graduate assistant.

The Orange Beach Festival of Art will be held March 7-10 on the campus of the Coastal Arts Center, 26389 Canal Road in Orange Beach.

Ms. Gulland is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at The University of South Alabama and developing her following as an artist. Along with accomplished potter Kathy Brady and The Coastal Art Center's resident potter, Abby Leach, pottery will play a major role as these "dirt dobbers" demonstrate and teach the art of throwing clay at the upcoming festival.

Demonstrations will be both Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 at The Clay Studio on the campus of the Coastal Art Center. Many opportunities to experience the arts in Orange Beach during this year's Festival of Art March 7-10. Website updated daily at www.obfoa.com

The Orange Beach Festival of Art is produced by the Friends of the Arts, a non-profit supporting the programs of the Coastal Art Center of Orange Beach.
