Through a collaborative effort by Fairhope High School IB student, Brooke Kane and the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, each student in Mrs. Alison Ray’s Pre-K class at Elberta Elementary received a Dr. Seuss book to commemorate his birthday on Friday, March 2. The 3rd grade Peer Helpers known as the Mustang Mentors, presented their reading buddies with a book, read the book to them and shared a special snack to promote early literacy and to foster better cross-grade relationships among the students. Sonja Blount, school counselor assisted with the project.
