Preston Freeman Cross, 89, resident of Oakland, Oregon died on Feb. 4, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Cross; son, Timothy Cross, father, Freeman Cross, mother, Annie Webb Cross, sister, Elizabeth Ray. He is survived by, one daughter, Sandra Philpot of Oakland Ore.; one son, Steven Cross of Eugene Ore; four sisters, Lettie Chancery of Pineview, Ala, Katie Carlee of Atmore, Ala., Ruth Stabler of Foley, Jeanette Toler of Foley; two brothers, Earl (Maxine) Cross of Foley, Kit (Suzanne) Cross of Jonesboro Ga.; seven grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Feb. 16, 2013 in Winston Oregon.
