ORANGE BEACH — Eleven States will be represented this coming weekend at the PRO-DAY "North/South/East/West" National Team Showcase here in Orange Beach (AL), announced Jeff Gross, director of PRO-DAY Baseball.
Top High School players from the Southeastern United States will be on hand playing in games during the three-day event to go along with a professional workout set for Saturday morning,
During the PRO-Workout, players will be evaluated in the 60-yard dash, outifeld and infield play (arm strength, accuracy, hands and foot-work), pitching, catching and hitting by professional scouts and collegiate coaches in attendance.
"We have some very talented players coming here to Orange Beach this weekend," said Gross. " Some of these players will go on to have great collegiate careers and a few could even go into professional baseball real soon.
"I encourage everyone to come out and see some of these future stars this weekend. Their is no cost to attend the games which will be coached by college coaches and professional scouts. It's a weekend to come out and bring the entire family."

Friday, August 3
Opening Ceremonies - 3 p.m.
Games: 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 4
Professional Workout - 9:30 a.m.
Games: 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 5
Games: 10 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
