FAIRHOPE, Ala. - The city of Fairhope’s Medical Overlay District Committee will hold a public meeting Thursday, July 7, to discuss a proposed ordinance to create a medical overlay district. 

The public meeting will occur at 5:30 pm in the Delchamps Room at the City Municipal Complex at 161 N. Section Street.

The city's Planning Commission scheduled the public meeting after several residents complained earlier this year that insufficient public input had been sought about the proposal.
