The Jubileer Puppet Ministry is an active outreach of First Baptist Church of Fairhope. It is comprised of adults devoted to sharing the love of God through the use of puppetry. The group’s mascot is a candle named Flicker, who is all about bringing God’s light to the hearts of people. The puppeteers enjoy visiting retirement centers, nursing homes, children’s hospitals and preschools to bring some sunshine and happiness to others, especially those who are hurting. The puppets sing praise and worship music as well as familiar hymns as they encourage the audience to clap and sing along. Anyone who would like the puppets to visit their facility should call Lynn Carroll at 929-0968 or the church office, 928-8685.
