ELBERTA, Ala. — A weekend of intermittent rain didn’t dampen the inaugural Wings, Rhythm and Brews Festival in Elberta.

The two-day event was set in Elberta Town Park on Saturday and Sunday and played host to visitors seeking hot wings, live entertainment and family-oriented activities.

Proceeds from the festival will fund the Elberta Police Department’s antibullying campaign, “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully.”
