Tom and Lynne Ratz of Daphne, formerly of Lillian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara Ratz, to Jeremy Mitchell, son of Dennis and Wendy Mitchell of Huntsville.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Foley High School. She received her B.S. in wildlife science from Auburn University in 2002. She is employed at The Law Offices of Aimee C. Smith, PLLC, Montgomery, where she also attends Jones Law School. She will receive her JD in May 2011.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Grissom High School in Huntsville. He received a double B.S. in sociology and physiology, and a Master’s in sociology, all from Auburn University. He recently graduated from Jones Law School with his JD and is employed at Chambless, Math & Carr P.C., Montgomery.
The couple will exchange vows in August 2009 at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, Auburn University.
