Raymond Eugene “Ray” Daniels, 53, a native of Bay Minette, a resident of Golden Meadows, La., and a recent resident of Loxley, died Monday, March 28, 2011.
He was self-employed as a welder and a pipefitter. He loved to fish, enjoyed gardening and really loved riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Richerson.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessica (Bill) Wofford of Loxley; son, Ted (Diane) Daniels of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three sisters, Annette (Bob) Luster of Foley, Charlotte (Harold) Holmes of Bay Minette and Sharon (Butch) Long of White House Forks; brother, Wayne (Betty) Daniels of Bay Minette; the mother of his children, Susan Hudson of Daphne; and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Shurman of Golden Meadows, La.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. with a celebration of life at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service. with Pastor Jerry Taylor officiating.
