Raymond L. Alms, age 85, a native of Elberta, Ala., passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2015.
Raymond was an army veteran who served his country proudly. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Anna Alms; brothers, Arthur H. Alms Jr., Leon Alms, Fred W. Alms and Warren Alms.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Alms; children, John R. (Jackie) Alms, James M. (Latricia) Alms, Cynthia (David) Moore, David E. Alms, all of Elberta, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, John D. (Barbara) Alms of Elberta, Ala.; many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at 11 a.m.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.
Interment will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
