John C. Redden, 88, a native of Mesquitte, Texas, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He was a retired chemical engineer at Staffer Chemical Company and was also self-employed at Gulf Plaza Corporation. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Burge Redden of Bay Minette; son, Kyle (Ann) Redden of Bay Minette; sister, Mary Nell Beddingfield of Cleburn, Texas; two grandsons, Stuart Redden and Will Redden, both of Bay Minette; one niece, Lesa Tanisia of Dallas; and one nephew, Paul Redden of Enid, Okla.
Graveside services and burial were held Thursday, April 8 at Barracas National cemetery with the Rev. Paul Redden officiating. Visitation was Tuesday, April 6 at Norris Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
