Helen Crook Reddoch, 85, died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

She born Nov. 23, 1922, in Birmingham, where she lived for over 50 years. Afterward she moved to Logan Martin Lake in Talladega County, where she and her husband remained until moving to Lillian five years ago.

She was a graduate of Auburn University, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. She was married to James Folmar Reddoch for over 64 years before his death in 2007.

Survivors include three children, James F. (Kym) Reddoch, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Diane R. (Bert) Smith of Lillian and Thomas L. Reddoch of New Haven, Conn.; six grandchildren, James Reddoch III, of Washington, DC, Marion Pound of Chattanooga, Tenn., Malcolm Reddoch and Amy Kathryn Reddoch, both of Tuscaloosa, Elaine Cisney of Collierville, Tenn., and Ross Smith of Birmingham; eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the organization, or charity of your choice.
