Dale G. Reed, 76, of Lillian, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008.
He was born Feb. 19, 1932 in Hickory County, Mo., to Earl and Mary B. Reed.
He was a beloved husband, loving father and great grandfather and was well known to the Lillian community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son, James Dale Reed.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Clara Reed; son, John (Sandy) Reed of Elberta; two daughters, Pam Sides and Patricia (Bill) Mildread of Birmingham; grandchildren, Brian and Kelly Sides, Samantha Reed, Earl, Sean, Chase and Shannon; many extended family members and friends.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
