Mary G. Reed, 91, born June 26, 1916, a longtime resident of Foley, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, The Rev. J.C. Reed and two sons, L. J. and Carl Reed.
Survivors include six daughters, Virginia Fillingim, Irma Partin, Jo Ann (Bert) Chastang Norma (Winston) Jernigan, Charlene (Jimmy) Sullivan and Myrtice (Arnold) Wilson; four sons, Hubert (Gerri) Reed, Otis Reed, J.C. (Robin) Reed and Larry Reed; 39 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Nancy Reed; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Bibleway Assembly in Foley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at at Bibleway Assembly. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
