Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hannah and Mr. and Mrs. James “Tony” Reid of Bay Minette, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Nicole Reid, to Garrett Amin Shariat-Zadeh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Javad Shariat-Zadeh of Bay Minette.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pearl W. Murray of Bay Minette and the late James T. Murray Sr., and Jenita Reid of Bay Minette.
She is the a 2001 graduate of Baldwin County High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
She works at the University of South Alabama Women’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Mobile.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Dorothy Gardner Lancaster and Arthur Eugene Lancaster of Grand Bay, Jafar and Fatemeh Shariat-Zadeh of Iran.
He is 2004 graduate of Baldwin County High School and attends the University of Mobile pursuing a degree in elementary education. He works at Hibbett Sports in Spanish Fort.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. May 2009 at First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.
