GULF SHORES, Ala. — The city of Gulf Shores mailed the Gulf Shores Hurricane Re-Entry Decals on March 20 to all residents and property owners with property on the island.
Two decals were sent to the billing address on record with Baldwin EMC. If you pay your Baldwin EMC bill online you will not receive the mailed decals.
In the event you do not have an account with Baldwin EMC but live on the island in the city of Gulf Shores or if you pay your electric bill online, you may obtain a hurricane re-entry decal at City Hall.
Proof of residency or property ownership will be required in the form of a deed, lease, utility bill, etc., that bears the street address of the property for which the decal is being purchased.
Those residents and property owners who wish to obtain additional decals may do so at Gulf Shores City Hall.
You are allowed to purchase no more than three additional decals at a total cost of $10.
You are encouraged to obtain your hurricane re-entry decals now. The decals will be good for the years 2009 and 2010.
