Rev. Malcolm Allen Roberts Sr., 83, born in Perdido and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was machine operator (retired) for Kaiser Aluminum and a Pentecostal Holiness minister.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Roberts of Bay Minette; his children, Kenneth (Mary) Roberts of Mobile, Beverly (Anthony) Wasdin of Pine Grove and Richard Roberts of Daphne; two brothers, Louis E. Roberts of Crossroads and Gaston Roberts of Bay Minette; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Maddox, Eric Roberts, Julian Roberts, Richard Roberts Jr., Brandon Roberts, Jessica Roberts and Sidney Wasdin; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Roberts; his first wife of 56 years, Willie Mae Roberts; and a brother, Douzie Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at 7 p.m., at Crossroads Church of God, with the Rev. Richie Nobles and the Rev. Angelo Thomley officiating.
Burial will be at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, from 4 p.m. until the service at Crossroads Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Church of God Building Fund, 10777 County Road 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
