Gulf Coast singer/songwriter Rhonda Hart has an annual toy drive to benefit Sacred Heart Hospital and Secret Santa and celebrates by dressing as Barbie dolls on her birthday. Here are pictures from the latest bash from Dec. 8 at the Flora-Bama. "This year was my 'Fourth Annual Barbies For Charity Birthday Bash'," Hart said. "I haven't counted the toys as of yet, but I would say several hundred Barbies and boy toys! Six large garbage bags! Yay! I always say it doesn't take much to make a big difference in a child's life! Moonshine Maggie from Sea Strands was on hand giving haircuts and donating 50 percent Back to The Barbie Fund! I haven't focused on gathering money in years past, I just ask that folks bring a Barbie or Boy toy and dress up like one if they wish? We donate them to Pirates of the Lost Treasure for their Secret Santa organization. The Nemours Clinic, Pediatric Oncology, Hematology (Sacred Heart Patients) and several various local families in need of some Christmas Cheer!"
