Richard E. Bowyer, age 86, a native of Lima, Ohio and a resident of Robertsdale, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
Bowyer served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert & Evelyn Bowyer; first wife, Susie Szekely Bowyer; son, Ronald Eugene Bowyer, daughter, Linda Watson, and two brothers, Kenneth Bowyer and Darryl Bowyer. He is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Bowyer of Robertsdale; two daughters, Judy Ann Bowyer and Maisie Bowyer Salcido both of Robertsdale; four sons, Robert Allen (Sue) Bowyer of San Diego, Calif; Dennis Lee (Linda) Bowyer of Robertsdale; Gary Lynn (Cynthia) Bowyer of Convoy, Ohio; Dewey James (Regina) Bowyer of Gilbert, Ariz; brother, Donald Bowyer of Findlay, Ohio and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Gulf Shores. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale.
