Richard E. Eagleson, 65, a native of Mobile, a resident of Baldwin County for the last 18 years, and a recent resident of Foley, died Thursday, May 19, 2011.
He was retired as a truck driver. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching NASCAR with his son, Derrick. He and his son, Chris loved to spend time talking. Most of all, he will be remembered for loving his grandchildren very much.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mildred A. Eagleson of Foley; two sons, Chris Eagleson, Jasper, Ga., and Derrick (Tammy) Eagleson, Semmes; his brother-in-law, Kevin (Connie) Allen of Spanish Fort; mother- and father-in-law, Bennie and Margie Allen of Fish River; six grandchildren, Christian, Cameron, Grey, Ian, Alex and Ryan; and two special nieces, Whitney and Lexi.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23 at Bay Community Church, Malbis. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
