Richard Huggins, 85, a native of Perry, Fla. born May 22, 1930, and a resident of Spanish Fort, Ala., died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015.
Mr. Huggins attended the University of Florida and graduated with an engineering degree.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Richard retired from the Corps of Engineers for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Huggins; two daughters, Karen Considine and Carol Sepella; his adopted daughter, Kelsey Hunt; one son, Scot Presley; one granddaughter, Kyleen Considine; one grandson, Thomas Considine; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at noon. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service time.
Graveside services will be held in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort at 1:30 p.m.
