Richard “Steve” Brantley, 62, a native of Mobile and a resident of Summerdale, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Mr. Brantley loved to fish. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and a member of Tider and Cider. Mr. Brantley also enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda J. Brantley of Summerdale; daughter, Brandy (Phil) Brantley-Jenkins of Fort Bragg, Calif.; son, Richard Stephen (Kristin) Brantley II of Deltona, Fla.; mother, Alma K. Golden of Mobile; stepmother, Barbara Brantley of Gulf Shores; sisters, Kathy Brantley of Mobile and Tonya Fair of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Woodie (Amanda) Brantley of Mobile, Jeff (Pat) Brantley of Mary Ester, Fla., Mark (Ken) Brantley of Peachtree City, Ga. and Noel “Bo” (Carrie) Brantley of Friendswood, Texas; and two grandchildren, Chelsey Brantley and Corey Brantley.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 3 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m.
