Hubert Cecil Richburg, 58, a native of Panama City, Fla., a resident of Bradenton, Fla., a former resident of Perdido, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
He was a self employed commercial fisherman and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh C. Richburg and Lucile Bryan Richburg and a brother, Charles “Rusty” Richburg.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wells Richburg of Bradenton, Fla.; three daughters, Shelly Richburg McIntyre of Grove Hill, Molly Richburg of Jackson and Angela Richburg of Wheeling, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jacob McIntyre, Bryan Luke McIntyre and Hunter Dailey; four sisters, Sara R. Wilson of Foley, Ann R. Fowler of Bay Minette, Betty Jean R. Parks of Foley and Shirley Propst of Bay Minette; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Lee Sly, Terry Earnest, Rodney McIntyre, Harry Wilson, Dusty Roberts and Frank Propst.
