Mr. and Mrs. William Burton Rigdon of Evans, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth Rigdon, to John Anthony Rodriguez-Feo III, the son of Dr. and Mrs. John Anthony Rodriguez-Feo II of Fairhope.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter Mr. and Mrs. John W. Aydlett Sr. of Perry, Ga., the late Evelyn N. Aydlett of Perry, the late Joan D. Aydlett of Charleston, S.C., and Anne S. Rigdon of Fort Valley, Ga., and the late Henry C. Rigdon Jr.
She is a 2004 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of George with a degree in economics. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She is employed by Sheehan and Bagwell Financial Group as a marketing assistant.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Patricia H. Metts of Statesboro, Ga., and the late Levin A. Metts, the late Dr. and Mrs. Juan Antonio Rodriguez-Feo of Havana, Cuba.
He is a 2004 graduate of Fairhope High School and a 2007 First Honor graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in biology. He attends the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga.
