Robert Woodfin "Woody" Rinehart, 81, a native of Marion and resident of Loxley, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at his home.
He was a navy veteran that served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyndal Rinehart.
Survivors include four daughters, Synthia Kaiser of Fairhope, Nina Alexander of Foley, Sarah (Royce) Duncan of Robertsdale and Rosa (Rudy Acevedo) Bertolla of Cantonment, Fla.; two sons, Wayne (Marie) Rinehart of Jacksonville, Fla., and Louis (Pam) Bertolla of Fairhope; sister, Alvice Melton of Lawton, Okla.; brother, Marcus Rinehart of Jacksonboro, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Ave, Mobile, AL 36604.
